What is

KAIROS Summer is a 10-week summer internship designed to give students the opportunity to lead, study, and serve alongside the Grace Church staff. We will have interns participating with Student Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Worship, Audio/Visual, Videography, Communication and Cultural Engagement (local & regional missions).

  • Two or three mornings each week, interns will be taught by various Grace pastors on topics including Bible study methods, gospel-centered living, the local church, gender, worship, spiritual disciplines, and more.
  • Each intern will be placed in a primary ministry area (Children, Students, Worship, Audio/Visual, Videography, Communication, and Cultural Engagement) for the duration of the summer, where they will gain “hands-on” ministry experience. Interns will be asked to teach, train, lead, listen, observe, build, and connect in a variety of different ways depending on their specific ministry area.
  • Interns can expect to disciple and be discipled. Grace Church exists to make mature followers of Christ. We believe the primary context for such life change is relationships. KAIROS Summer interns will all have pastoral mentors and will be challenged to shepherd others throughout the summer.
  • Jesus has called us to take the gospel in word and deed to the ends of the earth. Each intern will have the opportunity to be involved with Grace Church ministry partnerships locally, regionally, and internationally.
  • For personal stories from previous Kairos Summer interns on their Kairos experience, click to our church blog here.

KAIROS Semester is an internship program where college students can receive college credit for interning in various ministries/departments. Many college students are required to participate in an internship as a part of their degree program, and we will work with you to design an internship that meets the criteria of your institution. Internships are available in Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, Worship, Audio/Visual, Videography, Communication, Accounting, Business, Counseling, and Marketing.

  • Internship lengths will depend on the requirements of your institution and can be held during the fall, spring, and summer sessions.
  • Since college credit is received, this is an unpaid internship. Housing can be arranged, if needed.
